Lake El Estero is a popular park here where it's common to indulge in recreational
activities such as paddle boats, bird watching, the Dennis the Menace Park, and a
skate park.
Pebble Beach has eight public and private 18-hole golf courses and hosts
the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, a PGA Tour golf tournament. So, if you want
to spend a relaxed and luxurious weekend golfing, this is the place to be.
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is a motorsport track near Monterey and is worth a
visit for all those racing fanatics!
Close to Monterey is the 17 Mile Drive, a scenic road through Pebble Beach and
Pacific Grove, and also passes famous golf courses and other scenic attractions.
Carmel By The Sea and Big Sur are also easily accessible from Monterey if you've got a longer weekend!
